The calibre of speakers was exceptional and came from a cross section of the industry. The audience heard from specialists in their field ranging from mining analysts and where the industry was heading, local and regional mining and energy companies and how they are working with their local communities, how our agricultural sector is playing a huge role in reducing carbon emissions, as well as new learning about new opportunities and projects that are under development.
The success of the forum is not just about the number of people attending but the networks that have been established.
We had representation from local, state and federal government, the mining industry, research and development organsiations, new energy businesses, thought leaders and educational institutions all in one room who have the same common goal.
We were able to bring all these people together in a regional centre so they could share their ideas, collaborate and partner in new projects to benefit our region.
Thank you to everyone who attended the forum and our sponsors. We are already working towards a bigger and brighter event for 2025.
Cheers for now
Justine
