I'm thrilled to announce a collaboration with The Exchange Dubbo with RDA Orana, taking over the management and operations of The Exchange Dubbo site, 98 Macquarie Street.
The Exchange is the brainchild of entrepreneur Jillian Kilby, who loves business and heritage-listed buildings. Her dream of creating a working space for start-ups and the community became a reality in 2018 and is now a thriving business. The linkages between RDA Orana and The Exchange Dubbo align to grow both businesses for the betterment of the community and the region.
Under the management of RDA Orana the business will have a slight name change to The Exchange Orana and we will continue to operate the business with the same aspirations which Jillian held of ‘where the bold meet the brave, where ideas meet their maker and where coworking meets the community’. Our goal is to build on what has already been achieved at The Exchange Dubbo through the leadership of Jillian and her wonderful staff with a great emphasis on creating a regional base for businesses, LGA's and communities across the Orana. It will be business as usual for staff and businesses who currently operate from The Exchange Dubbo, with Manager Kate O'Shaughnessy.
For RDA Orana, this collaboration represents a strategic step towards fulfilling its core objectives. By integrating The Exchange Dubbo, we expand our capacity to nurture and support entrepreneurship, facilitate networking opportunities, and provide vital resources for business development. Our goal has always been to sustain economic growth and social progress in the Orana region, and The Exchange aligns perfectly with that vision and I am confident that this transition will strengthen our mission.
